Health: CHEF supports the construction of two 100 bed hospitals in Paktya and Ghazni provinces, a 50 bed hospital in Samangan province, and a 20 bed hospital in Paktika province serving over two million Afghan citizens. Additionally, the project will build three midwifery training centers in Badakhshan, Bamyan, and Khost provinces.
Education: This program aims to address the teacher training needs (current and projected) for the Ministry of Education (MoE) by providing nine Provincial Teacher Resource Colleges (PTRC) to educate trainers of teachers and teachers themselves in Khost, Wardak, Nangarhar, Ghor, Zabul, Paktika, Faryab, Parwan, and Badghis.
