A five-year project initiated in April 2006, the PACE-A program will assist the Ministry of Education (MOE) to strengthen and expand community-based education in selected areas where there are no MOE schools.  The goal is to increase access to quality education.  The project has two components: 1) expanding access to community-based schools, strengthening community structures and improving the quality of community-based education and 2) building the long-term capacity of civil society organizations and developing modes of cooperation between community-based and MOE schools.
