Building skills for youth: In this project, young women and men will actively participate in democracy-building and development processes, and contribute to sustainable peace and solidarity in the country.  The timeframe for the project is one and a half years (18 months).  UN-HABITAT and the Ministry expect to replicate the project through the efforts of the Ministry, the National Solidarity Program within the 2,800 NSP communities that UN-HABITAT assists, and other development partners.  Through the project funded training and development of youth, democracy will become more institutionalized within the hearts, minds and actions of the new generations.
