Agri-Business Alliance (GDA)

The new Afghanistan Agri-Business Alliance project is a Global Development Alliance (GDA) to leverage investment capital and develop the agriculture sector. Proposals will be considered for GDA funding if they will contribute to permanent and seasonal employment in agriculture, developing contract farming, processing of agricultural products, sorting and packaging of agricultural products, transportation of agricultural products, and diversified sales and marketing of agricultural products. Alliances for $500,000 to $5,000,000 will be considered for a three to five year period, subject to availability of funding.
