Jawzjan

Capital Shibirghan
Population 477,000
Area 11,798  km²

The remote province of Jawzjan is bordered by Turkmenistan to the north. It has very little infrastructure, including few schools, hospitals, or reliable sources of energy. The province has seen some unrest over the past year. Factional clashes continue to cause instability in the region.
