The purpose of this project is to strengthen the capacity of Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) to conduct diplomacy on behalf of the Afghan government through a reformed organization, trained staff, developed systems, and enhanced administrative functions (e.g., passport and visa management, embassy management, and translation support). The objectives of the project are to enhance the capacity of ministry officials to perform their duties in the conduct of ministry business, both policy and administrative; improve the functionality of MoFA headquarters; and provide the MoFA with the needed informational technology equipment to support essential business operations.
