To address Afghanistan’s lack of critical infrastructure and establish the necessary pre-requisite to sustained economic growth and stability, USAID implements construction projects and technical assistance programs in the energy, transportation, vertical structures, and water and sanitation sectors. The EQUALS project provides a full range of long-term and quick-response architect and engineering services, construction quality assurance services, and other logistical and data management support to ensure that the Mission’s infrastructure development projects are structurally sound and built according to established engineering standards.
