The Support for the Center of Government Program works to transform the Office of Administrative Affairs (OAA), which represents the President as head of government, and the Chief of Staff (COS), which represents the President as head of state. The program is assisting the OAA and COS by building their capacities; rationalizing their organizational structures and decision making processes; redesigning their administrative work procedures; and upgrading their office equipment, facilities, and information technology to international standards. This program will help to increase the efficiency and quality of decision-making in the center of government, thereby improving governance in Afghanistan.
