Texting for Market Prices

A new text messaging system is launched in three provinces.

TAMAS, a text messaging system for distributing market price information, was launched in Kunar, Laghman, and Nangarhar provinces. USAID’s alternative development team traveled extensively throughout the eastern region raising awareness and providing training on the system; 630 people in eleven districts were trained.
