US aid agency helps revamp Afghan city

USAID, the American aid agency, has started operating in the Afghan city of Herat after years of widespread unrest subsided there. Now that the Taliban's presence has dropped sharply in the city and stability has risen, USAID has implemented various development projects to revamp its roads, irrigation system and food production.
