Annual Horiculture Program

USAID/ADP/E

A farmer takes pride in his fresh crops.

The 134 beneficiaries of Alternative Development Program/East’s Annual Horticulture Programs began selling snow peas, cabbage, beets, and broccoli at a rate of 40,000 per week worth $14,000.  Cumulative sales for the current season surpassed $132,000.  Current estimates suggest that sales have reached $30,000 per week and are expected to climb until the end of the current harvest in February.
